Sri Sri Radha Govinda
The temple room, which houses the beautiful altar, is the spiritual heart Krishna Island. The Deities of Radha and Govinda are a visible form of God in both His original male and female forms, to Whom personal service can be offered.
Since God is present everywhere, He can also be present in the form of the Deity.
The daily routine sets the cycle of temple services. In the early morning, Krishna is woken, bathed and dressed. He is then offered food at regular intervals during the day.
Radha and Govinda are greeted every morning in Their new outfits for the day. This greeting continues throughout the day. It is called darshan, which means ‘seeing.’ It is a time for devotees to offer prayers and for Krishna to ‘see’ their hearts.
