Visiting Times

You are most welcome to visit Krishna Island. We have our own large motorised barge to bring guests to and from Krishna Island. We have preferred barge operating times, and we ask guests to arrive to co-incide with these times. It is necessary to send a whatsapp message at least 2 hours in advance to indicate when you plan to arrive. Remember, barge runs when booked! Please plan to arrive at quay 15minutes before the arranged time.

We have an option to pick you up on the bus stop and take you to Krishna Island. The car requested donation is 10 euros.

If you’re a new visitor

The recommended visiting time is every Sunday at 12.00. It is possible to visit at other times also, but need to make an inquiry about the possibility of doing so. Please, if you planning to visit in a large group, inform us in advance. If you are planning to visit any other day apart from Sunday, please give us a call to arrange an appointment.

What can I visit at the Island?

Whether you’re a new visitor or a regular worshipper, everyone is welcome to take part in the plethora of experiences that Krishna Island has to offer. Guidance for new visitors

We’re honoured that you want to visit us. Here are some things you’ll need to consider when you visit to make sure you have a smooth experience and make the most of your day.

Allocate enough time

Krishna Island is a big place with lots of things to do. Make sure you allow at least 2 hours to make the most of your trip. The time we recommend is around 12pm.

Be prepared for new experiences

Krishna Island is a welcoming spiritual community, but be ready for people dressed differently in traditional Indian attire, taking your shoes off when you visit the temple, and quite a bit of walking. If you have concerns, speak to your tour guide who will be happy to help you out.

Get familiar with directions

Check out the link below to get more directions on driving. It’s easy if you follow directions as instructed. Public transport is limited, so plan accordingly and allocate more time for your journey.

Booking a group?

We welcome group visits. Let us know when you fill out the form if you have a group of more than 10 people as we’ll need to make arrangements. Group visits incur a cost, especially if you require a meal (only available if booked during lunch time). Please book well in advance and discuss this with our tour guides first as not all dates may be available.
