Dear Devotees and Friends of Sri Sri Radha Govinda,
Namaste and Hare Krishna! We stand at the threshold of an auspicious moment in the journey of our beloved Krishna Island.
Since July 1986, Krishna Island has been the home of Radha Govinda. Through thick and thin, our Krishna Island, has been the principal place of worship for ISKCON Ireland, and a sacred sanctuary nestled amidst the serene beauty of Lough Erne.
We invite you, our cherished community, to join hands in realizing the vision of Radha Govinda’s home, as a transcendental haven for all seekers of truth and to provide a first-class facility for all who come.
Over the years by Their divine will, through struggle, unwavering dedication, and profound love, you the devotees, and the larger devotee community, have nurtured Krishna Island into a premier spiritual destination.
Offering solace and inspiration to countless souls on their quest for God and enlightenment through Bhakti Yoga and Krishna consciousness and through your unwavering support, we have witnessed the fruition of numerous infrastructure upgrades and the creation of a new deity room.
Having completed this first phase we now embark on the second part of our development plan and for that we need your help..
The next phase of Development will involve the renovation of another two guest rooms, to bring our overnight guest capacity to 15.
This will allow us to have regular retreats and to invite our guests and supporters to relish the unique Spiritual atmosphere of Krishna Island.
To complete phase two, we will need to not only renovate rooms, but also install upgraded unsulation, fire safety measures, waste water treatment, and improved internet facility.
A great deal of this work is underway already.
For phase three, we plan to add a complete new guest wing, with accomodation for 35 guests, bringing our guest capacity to 50 guests.
Our target for phase two renovations is £50,000.
Our target for the phase three guest house development is being finalized, but will be in the region of £2,000,000

This will allow for large groups to stay in comfort at Krishna Island to enjoy the unique Spiritual Morning Program and Evening Program..

PROJECT OVERVIEW
Our Goals
Our main goal is for Krishna Island, the home of Radha Govinda to be a first-class spiritual destination for devotees throughout Europe, the UK, and Ireland. Being one of Iskcon’s most unique temples, Krishna Island can facilitate devotees, friends and guests alike for our unique Spiritual Retreats.
Our immediate goal in this second phase is to further upgrade the guest accomodation, waste water treatment, the plumbing, the grounds, communications, and internet.
Phase Three will be the addition of an entire new Guest House wing, which will increase our Guest capacity further.
We have already started on the necessary upgrades, but to ensure that we complete the work in a timely manner, we need a commitment from those willing to step forward and help. With the momentum we have now, we can continue to develop the new guest wing. Without you none of this would have been possible so let’s get our shoulders behind the wheel and make this happen.
